L'Enchanteur et la Muse
The Grotto della Sibilla in the Umbrian Mountains which was first mentioned in classical legend. Guerino the Wretch reaches a mountain pass near Norcia in Umbria where he meets with the Devil. The Devil, of course, wants Guerino's soul and tempts him by describing a subterranean kingdom where every delight will be his. Seemingly, in this kingdom, trees flower and fruit at the same time and there is no pain or age or sorrow.

Hi Heather,
I am enjoying your sketches and you are doing very well. These horses are especially incredible as the positions would be difficult to draw, but you have managed to accomplish a good likeness!

I agree, heather, the sense of action you have captured is completely believable. you are a natural artist. those fancy pencils have freed the artist within!
These are not easy to draw, which shows a natural affinity for sure. Go for it!
Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I am finding my 'voice' and having a wonderful time sketching the journey. After years of writing it is an absolute novelty to find expression through pencils.
Thank you muchly Lois Hilda. A little gaiety goes a long way at the moment.
