what a good idea, but perhaps it's better not to bottle them, or at least not for too long

Can I come to tennessee and escape from mine darlink.

I might draw some with the corks out so that we can see what happens when we unbottle them Carol

I saw the genie
creep out from her bottled place
and tried to hide
but found her already waiting
in my dark corner
filling space and forcing me
to wander in the sunshine
and forget my fear.

You think too SMALL, darling! Why bottle one's emotions when one can pickle one's entire SELF! (laugh, I say) Answer: because one day there won't be a bottle big enough, no matter what you're trying to stuff into it, and then the hell you're hiding from reveals it has a basement.

Thank you for 'putting it' just so, Fran. I guess you could say, then, that the people who asked me all those shatterful questions were Genies. Not geniuses...better than that...Genies, they were, "forcing me to wander in the sunshine and forget my fear."

Thank you so much.

Your verse has made it on to the Advent Calendar Fran and as for you Stephanie - I might just be forced to bottle you as a pickle. I am an Enchanteur with a big kit bag of spells remember.
