Golden Grove

Posted by Picasa

A seed planted
down deep and dark
fed and nourished
by sunlight
and rain
sprout breaks
little by little
season to season
year by year
the seedling grew
into a
towering tree
reaching the
at home
in the
tree top
new seed
pods sprout
here and there
carried by
far and wide
to begin

Lovely imagery, megan. I do so love ravens.

Lovely, Megan and I like the art work, too.

Here's a dumb question--how do you form the lines that way? I guess it's some type of html tag?

Thank you all for your kind words.

To get the poem down the middle, I centred the text using the toolbar at the top.

Hi Megan,
I found this poem very moving, the gentleness and patience of the growth, so beautifully expressed.

Warm wishes

This truly honours the spirit of life itself, the cycles of nature. Divine Megan. I am enchanted.
