Everything is ablaze as Spring settles in Melbourne. The streets are alive with colour and this is magnificent Monika.

In Our beautiful Botanical Gardens in Melbourne there are hundreds of trees over 100 years old, like the one Monica has shown us in her photo.
These gardens in Victoria are listed as Heritage and at this time of year one feels when you walk around and in them you are in another world
I was there 2 weeks ago and wandered into The Little Old Craft Cottage which looks out onto the Yarra River...Inside a group of volunteers make craft items from grasses/reeds/bark etc from trees that have dropped these dried bits and pieces and have them for sale...so much beauty with all the variations of bark and gumnuts made into baskets/wall hangings/trays etc etc....
Not really craft but art

Lois, thanks for adding this information. I adore the Oak walk and the ladies in the Craft Cottage. They do fabulous things. As you say, they create ART. I have often bought their cards, paper and other things. They also hold great workshops. So glad you've been there too.
